This major renovation transformed a well-known Art Deco residence on Memorial Drive into a contemporary three-level family home, while carefully preserving its classic street presence. The project involved extensive structural work, including partial demolition, steel reinforcement, re-levelling and new balconies, to create open-plan living areas that capture sweeping ocean and city views. High-performance materials, recycled parquetry floors and detailed finishes were used throughout to withstand the harsh coastal environment and honour the building’s original character. The result is an award-nominated home that blends craftsmanship, modern functionality and long-term durability.
